Helpful if you have it, and fine to skip if you do not:
- What you want tested: a web application, its API, or both
- Roughly how large it is, and how many kinds of user
- Whether a test environment exists, or testing has to run against production
- Whether you own the system, or need a third party's permission
- Any deadline behind it
We test only what the owner has authorised in writing. If you would rather have an NDA in place first, say so in the first email.
